Darkroom Printing Workshop: Colour

Darkroom Printing Workshop: Colour

Whether you are a total beginner or want to refresh your knowledge, we can help you with every aspect of creating colour prints in the darkroom.

Covering everything from setting up an enlarger, making a contact sheet, test strips, colour balancing, and assessing colour casts. You will leave the day with a selection of handmade colour prints from your own negatives.

The workshop is 1 to 1 so can be tailored to exactly what you want to get to grips with and give you the space to ask questions and learn at your own individual pace.

Workshop length: 4 hours

Location: Intrepid Studios, 11 Chapel Mews, Hove BN3 1AR

What you need to bring

You must bring some already processed colour negatives (35mm, 120 or 4x5.) Ideally well exposed as they will be easier to learn to print with.

We also recommend bringing a notebook, pen and folder (to take your prints away in.)
