Darkroom Printing Workshop: Black & White

Darkroom Printing Workshop: Black & White

Whether you are a total beginner or want to refresh your knowledge, we can help you with every aspect of creating black & white prints in the darkroom.

Covering everything from setting up an enlarger, making a contact sheet, test strips, contrast, and dodging/burning. You will leave the day with a selection of handmade black & white prints from your own negatives.

The workshop is 1 to 1 so can be tailored to exactly what you want to get to grips with and give you the space to ask questions and learn at your own individual pace.

Workshop length: 4 hours

Location: Intrepid Studios, 11 Chapel Mews, Hove BN3 1AR

What you need to bring

You must bring some already processed black/white negatives (35mm, 120 or 4x5.) Ideally well exposed as they will be easier to learn to print with.

We also recommend bringing a notebook, pen and folder (to take your prints away in.)
